The hotel is great. It looks amazing with its wooden and vintage decorations. It is very close to the city center. The main restaurant has good food and the breakfast is wonderful. The bed is very comfortable and the room is quite big. Hotel has 3 sauna and one jacuzzi that might be a little small if more people want to use it at the same time. The hotel has a big private parking.

I liked the room - very cozy and clean. A lot of room and nice furniture. The most i liked the cleanliness. Breakfast is crazy good. A lot of things to eat and where to choose from. SPA is clean and cozy as well. It`s small, but i loved it. I also had a nice massage (extra pay) which i enjoyed. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful all the time. I had an issue with the minibar (wasn`t freezing) and they fixed it on the same day i talked about it. I stayed there for a week and it felt like home and more.

The hotel is very good looking, the staff was amazing and helpful, free parking, the spa area is nice and the location is accessible. It would be great if the breakfast had a description of each food type so you know what you pick. Also the beds are comfortable but it would be even better if the bed were not 2 twin beds connected, or just make it in a way that you can’t feel the gap in the middle. All in all the stay was great, just some small details that would need some small touches.

The mercure is one of the last "real" (old-school) hotels and we had a wonderful stay in the standard double room. The room is around double the size of a standard hotel room nowadays. Very clean, a huge bed, a big cupboard, a wardrobe, a desk, bedside tables, a window with view on a castle (villa), a big bathroom with a big window with the same view. The breakfast buffet was good as well and everyone should find something to their taste. There was even soy and rice milk. Fresh fruits, cereals, seeds, yoghurt, fresh bread, cakes and warm food were provided among the usual ham and cheese. The spa area is great too, a jacuzzi and the sauna are great for relaxing. There is a massage option at a great price as well but I didn't have time to enjoy that.

Everything, before booking I knew this was going to be a great experience. Right from the moment you enter you feel this is a great hotel. Decoration is awesome. The rooms are beautiful and you feel at home. You can drink water from the tap. And the SPA is so nice, you only have to tell before on reception the time you want to go to the spa, which was ok. I recommend this to everyone going to Sighisoara, city centre is a few minutes beautiful walk from the hotel, be sure to go to the spa after getting back to the hotel in the afternoon!

I liked the magnifient building, the excellent location of the hotel (the closeness of main street and the Citdel), the abundance and the great variety of the all-you-can-eat breakfast, as well as the humble but very efficient personnel both at the reception and in the restaurant.

The service was exceptional and professional. The staff are well trained in handling customer concerns. The facilities were clean and functional. The food that was served was delicious and healthy. Quite a lot of fruits and whole foods (eggs, bacon, sarmale, etc...) instead of proccessed foods (hot dogs, hamburgers, cereals, etc...). I liked the organized trip throughout the city with the tour guide. I also appreciated the wine tasting event with the gentleman from Moldova and their brand Purcari. These events were very informative and interesting.

The staff,the room,the location Everything was exceptionnal.The room was spacious ,had an marvellous view on the most beautiful and ancient frortress's belltower of Sighisoara and of course,the whole building is very very clean.The interior of the the hotel is very cosy,with lots of pine's wood and nice couches.It takes 3 minutes walk to the center.Great!!!

Fantastic room, one of the best I've ever stayed in. Really nice, very clean. Good breakfast. Really nice staff too. Hotel suffered outside issues (water stoppage, lightning strikes) and they coped very well with things beyond their control.

Excellent location. Only a few minutes walk to the main square and entrance to the Citadel. Lovely for walking both in the dark and also at sunrise. Felt safe. Plenty of parking. The hotel felt a little dated but was perfectly comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast as I went out for an early morning walk and then had a long journey. I would stay here again to explore Sighisoara - good value.
